Zoetis is seeking a system and process team leader for its Kalamazoo operation.
Job Description
The GTS System and Process team leader is responsible for work process enhancement, project prioritization and support of project tracking as it relates to new products, transfers of inline products and special projects. The GTS System and Process team leader will also collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that GTS systems are aligned with other GMS and VMRD work processes and tools. In addition, this colleague will manage or support special projects as needed.
Responsibilities
• In collaboration with GTS colleagues, GMS sites, VMRD, and other key stakeholders to streamline key GTS work processes to ensure that they are appropriate for the needs of Zoetis GMS.
• In collaboration with GTS leadership and stakeholders, develop and maintain the GTS project prioritization tool.
• Develop and maintain a system to track new product launches across GMS. Align tracking tools and activities with other GMS and VMRD tracking tools.
• Develop and maintain systems to track GTS projects and support activities. Align tracking tools and activities with other GMS and VMRD tracking tools.
• Lead special projects as required by customer and group needs.
Qualifications (Training, Education and Prior Experience):
Education
• BS degree in technical field, degree in process design a plus.
• OpEx certification in lean a plus.
Experience
• 10 year of industry experience, minimum of 3 years directly applicable job experience in designing and streamlining technical processes.
• SharePoint administration, database development and information sharing for multiple projects and customer groups.
Skills
Mastery of scientific, technical, & leadership practices and theories with broad and/or in-depth progressive experience.
