Production Planner
Armstrong International is seeking a Production Planner for its Three Rivers operation.

The Production Control Department is seeking a Production Planner to be a key contributor to Armstrong’s production success. Candidates should possess the following experience and skills-set.
Desired Skills and Experience
Key responsibilities and duties include, but not limited to:
• Set work center production schedules to balance efficient production with customer deliveries
• Work with plant management to resolve capacity bottlenecks
• Set customer order delivery dates based on material availability and capacity
• Advise sales of customer delivery issues and reschedules
• Make recommended purchases based on ERP system messaging
• Work with the buyers to mitigate supply interruptions
• Help expedite critical customer orders through the shop
• Manage part shortages through product tear downs, alternate sourcing, or substitution recommendations
• Maintain correct ERP system parameters
• Work with product engineering, CAD, and sales to ensure the drawing and ERP data for part numbers are correctly established
• Collaborate and strategize with the Armstrong planning departments in other countries
Job Qualifications and Education Required
• BS degree or APICS certification required
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing/metal fabrication company strongly desired
• Experience in an ERP environment
• Excellent face-to face, telephone, and e-mail communicator
