Job Description
Stryker Healthcare Systems is a group that works with a multitude of different customers. It serves Group Purchasing Organizations, Integrated Delivery Networks, the Federal Government, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Equipment Planners and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. It also assists in finding the optimal financing solution for every customer. It creates and finalizes contracts and completes deals with customers, as well as manages long-term relationships with all of these customers, creates integrated supply chain solutions and leverages cross-divisional strengths.
• As the Business Analyst, the principal responsibility will be to supply accurate, timely and insightful reporting and analysis to Stryker Corporate Account Managers, as well as key divisional, group and corporate executives upon request. This is a great opportunity to get significant exposure to the several Divisions, including top management.
• The Business Analyst provides the comprehensive framework of data on which to develop a business plan for Integrated Delivery Networks and/or strategically targeted healthcare institutions in the domestic U.S. This position works closely with both internal and external customers and requires significant analytical ability, attention to detail, focus on continually improving reporting and a drive for complete accuracy in work product.
• Serve as a key process and systems resource for MedSurg Corporate Account field teams including the development of programs or applications to meet the needs of strategic business analysis as defined by the Corporate Account Managers, Director of Corporate Accounts, or Sr. Operations Manager.
• Provide analysis of customer information and historical sales data utilizing internal and external software applications.
• Serve as a key process and system resource for Healthcare Systems including development of report structures, utilization of existing business intelligence systems and tools, and be a key member of the team determining next strategic steps in business intelligence platform.
• Participate as a member of the Healthcare Systems Strategic Pricing Team involved in responding to customer requests for pricing master data, pricing master files and data cleansing as it relates to their pricing across all divisions of Stryker Corporation.
• Communicate deliverables, maintain planning calendar and ensure a predictable and transparent process.
• Support functional HCS business partners including the analysts for National Accounts and Consolidated Reporting.
• Gain a comprehensive knowledge of the Company's product lines, competitive environment, and the market it addresses to better support functional initiatives and provide recommendations to business partners.
• Build analytical models that utilize both financial and non-financial data to forecast operating results.
• Participate in the development and implementation of process improvements.
• Participate in cross-functional business projects and perform ad hoc analysis as required.
• Ability to program and work with complicated Access databases and a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel are REQUIREMENTS of this role.

-- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, I.T., or related discipline. MBA with a concentration in a relevant field is highly preferred.
