I do research into the causes of nerve damage in diabetes. I bridge the gap between the hardcore biologists and computer scientists to interpret the huge volume of data that we can collect using modern experimental methods. Most recently, we've been looking at the effect of FDA approved drugs on nerve damage as a shortcut to developing new drugs that are both safer and more effective.
