Business: Jobs Landed

I found my job through WMU’s career recruiting website.  My job is to sell Thomson Reuters tax software to small and medium-sized accounting firms across the U.S.  I really enjoy the consultative sales approach we have with our clients.   It allows me to connect with people, identify their issues, and assist them in making their life easier.  To top it off, Thomson Reuters is an all-around great organization to develop professionally.  The people are top notch and the team-oriented, competitive environment makes work fun.

I cover business issues in the Ann Arbor region and the Michigan economy, including alternative energy, automotive, biotechnology, venture capital, advanced manufacturing, information technology, aerospace and engineering. I write and post daily stories online and weekly analytical stories in print. I also publish regular blog posts, occasional video, photos, columns and Twitter updates. I also appear regularly on business radio programs - particularly to discuss Michigan's alternative energy industry and the auto crisis.
