Superior Extrusion expanding facility

Aluminum extrusion manufacturer Superior Extrusion, Inc. announced it will be expanding in a big way, adding 10,000 square feet to its Gwinn facility and up to a dozen new jobs.

The new floor space will accommodate SEI's maintenance and fabrication facilities, with the goal of better efficiency and the ability to serve more customers and their growing needs.

SEI president and CEO Dan Amberg says the advanced manufacturing company will be looking to add from six to 12 new jobs as a result of the expansion. The addition will be designed by AECOM of Marquette, and built by Associated Constructors of Negaunee.

Superior Extrusion produces aluminum extrusions for industries like aerospace, defense, automotive, and manufacturing. The company also offers fabrication services like close tolerance cutbacks, miter cutting, drilling, punching, deburring, coping and welding.
