New governor sees Kalamazoo as inspiration for Michigan
Gov. Rick Snyder recently praised Kalamazoo, calling the community an inspiration for the rest of the state.
The Detroit News reports Snyder spoke at an awards ceremony by the economic development organization Southwest Michigan First, his first public appearance since his State of the State address.
