New Enterprise Forum names Healthmedia founder as Entrepreneur of the Year

The top man of one of Ann Arbor's top start-ups is about win top prize at the
New Enterprise Forum
Thursday.
Ted Dacko, president of HealthMedia, will be honored as the 2008 Entrepreneur of the Year. Johnson & Johnson acquired HealthMedia last year, which was seen as a significant step forward for entrepreneurship in the Ann Arbor area. Dacko also has served as executive for 30 years, the latest of which is with HealthMedia.
Awards will also be given out for Best Presentation, Technology and Business Model. There will also be an open forum where attendees have the opportunity to make a 30-second pitch for their company.
The event begins at 5 p.m. at the Holiday Inn North Campus, 3600 Plymouth Road in Ann Arbor.
