Ragatz's work. It's an approach that's earned her the highest state-wide honor for
teachers.
According to excerpts from the article:
Although most teachers likely ask students to put away their iPods and cell phones

Michigan Teacher of the Year.

"This
is the best job in the world. I'm so honored, and I'm so humbled," said
Ragatz, 43, who teaches social studies and world languages. "I hope
they picked me for my innovative thinking as a teacher."
