A recent Escanaba Daily Press story detailed some construction work that will be taking place on Country Roads 513 and 432. The projects are planned to repair the roadways and funding was received from federal and state sources.

The commission has received federal and state transportation money to fund the projects.
One long-awaited project, 11 miles of reconstruction along County Road 513 in Stonington, is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
