A Chicago radio station visited Ishpeming recently to tell the story of a town trying to move away from a one-company economy, as so many towns across the U.S. are these days.

Wednesday, the trip headed north to Michigan's Upper Peninsula, where North America's biggest iron ore supplier has been blasting the earth--and creating jobs--for more than 160 years.
