Lee Bar & Grill open for business

Lee Bar & Grill is open for business!  The grill, located about seven miles west of Midland on M-20, has a menu filled with pizzas, grinders, salads, and unique appetizers. 
B.J. McCann is the owner and Ronni Dice is the manager of Lee Bar & Grill.
There is something for everyone, and that is the goal for owner B.J. McCann, to create an atmosphere and menu that anyone can enjoy. The televisions that line the walls offer patrons sports, news, and Disney+.

"We really want everyone to feel comfortable here. We don’t want parents to worry if their kids want to play with the games or watch the TVs. We all know what it is like to eat out with kids, and they need something to do so the parents can enjoy themselves too. Everyone is encouraged to EAT. GAME. HANG,” says manager Ronni Dice as she points to their motto on the back of one of her server’s shirts. Dice also pointed out that the LED dart boards, giant Jenga, pool table, and board games are free for anyone to use while visiting the new establishment.

Though the bar and grill is currently closed on Mondays, they are open for lunch and dinner, Sundays through Saturdays, opening at noon on Sundays. On April 28, Brother Hyde was the featured live music. Future events include more live music, exclusive sporting events on the large television, and karaoke nights; the first one scheduled on May 5.
Pizza is one of the featured items.
When the restaurant soft-opened on April 3, they opened as a “living wage” business. All servers and bartenders were paid a flat rate of $12.75/hour with each bill including a 15% gratuity charge that went into a pool that servers and bartenders were paid out as bonuses. “We want everyone to be able to reach their goals and pay their bills, whether that be putting a down payment on a house or paying a medical bill,” shares McCann. Since the grand opening April 27 and ribbon cutting with the Midland Business Alliance, servers and bartenders requested that they make the standard hospitality industry minimum wage and keep individual tips. It is important to McCann to keep staff morale high and he honored their request. Bills are no longer subjected to the mandatory gratuity charge and servers and bartenders keep the tips that they earn.
