The Saginaw Promise program is getting a boost to do more outreach and support its students better, with help from Walmart.
Excerpt: Through its Michigan State Giving Council, the Walmart Foundation has awarded a $40,000 grant to the Saginaw Promise Zone Authority (Saginaw Promise) to support and promote postsecondary education.
The grant will fund outreach initiatives and the design and development of a new website that will provide information and tools for navigating postsecondary education, according to a news release.
