Healthcare is important to everyone, which is why it's always good news to hear that hospitals are taking the time to sign affiliation agreements, like U-M Health and MidMichigan Health just did.
Excerpt: MidMichigan Health and the University of Michigan Health System finalized an agreement to affiliate on Friday.
The partnership is intended to expand access, quality and the level of care provided for patients who live in the 14-county region served by MidMichigan Health. It will ensure that patients receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time, the partners stated. The agreement follows an announcement of the intended affiliation made late last summer.
