MidMichigan Medical Center is expanding, with new services now available for patients in Mt. Pleasant. Women who need breast cancer screenings like regular mammograms now can get it done in a peaceful setting dedicated just to the exam--and there's even coffee and a massage chair.
Excerpt: New, advanced imaging technology for detecting breast cancer is now located in an imaging suite in Mount Pleasant created just for women by MidMichigan Medical Center-Gratiot. The Medical Center expanded digital mammography services to Mount Pleasant by opening a new dedicated digital mammography suite at the Crapo Professional Building located at 211 South Crapo Street.
The location offers a tranquil atmosphere, including a waiting area with a loveseat and oversized lounge chairs, a mini-kitchenette equipped with a coffee brewing station, a massage chair to help relieve tension, plus a streamlined registration process to help ensure a stress-free experience.
