Usually, thinking about education is left to those who actually work in education. But a series of upcoming events aim to draw in the opinions and ideas of those who don't. In fact, the conversations on Michigan's education system are specifically open to citizens who want to share thoughts on education.
Excerpt: Mid Michigan Community College will hosting two community conversations this month focused on Michigan’s pre-K-12 education system and student learning.
The first is set for 8 to 9:30 a.m. Monday, March 26, in Room 130 at the college’s Mount Pleasant Summerton campus, 2600 S. Summerton Road. The second is scheduled for 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, in the Houghton Room at the college’s Harrison campus, 1375 S. Clare Ave.
