A mid-Michigan based creative group is making independent comic books, and hoping to create a culture of comics in the state through collective publishing.
Excerpt: "Wild Bullets" is the latest comic book published by the non-profit Michigan Comics Collective and is the group's first stand-alone release -- all others have been anthologies. Founded in 2014 by a group of six enthusiasts at Coy's Comics, 3220 Bay Road in Saginaw, the group's membership has since ballooned, with comics at 17 stores throughout Michigan.
