Parks in the Great Lakes Bay region are getting some help from employees of Cabela's, who will help create a partnership between the outdoors store and, well, the outdoors in mid-Michigan.
Excerpt: Saginaw County’s Cabela’s Outpost will work in parks in Saginaw, Bay and Midland counties as part of the company’s Campfire Project.
Employees of Saginaw County’s Cabela’s Outpost, at 5202 Bay, which opened in February, will volunteer in the parks on local programs, do minor construction and rehabilitation projects, blaze trails and provide resources for various activities, the company announced.
