Bay County medical facilities seeing growth

Those who've decided to head down the health care and wellness career path have definitely made the right choice, especially if they live in the Bay County area. Medical facilities are continuing to grow, and hire, according to a recent article by Mlive.com.

Excerpt: New and expanding medical facilities are continuing to bring jobs and health services to the Bay City area.

In the past six months, at least four medical facilities have created about 20 jobs by building or expanding in and around Bay City.

Dr. Brent M. Boyce, 39, expanded his practice, Saginaw Bay Dermatology, and added four new positions to his staff of about 20.

"We were running out of space in our current office," Boyce said. "I had hired a new physician assistant and we quickly ran short of space."
