Excerpt: Mt. Pleasant Municipal Airport has made headway on a $400,000 construction project that will result in a total overhaul of the airport’s west ramp.
Of the about $400,000 the project will cost, Airport Manager John Benzinger said, the federal cost will be $370,000, the state will pay $12,000 and the city will pay $12,000.
