MBS International Airport gets grants for ramps, roads

MBS Airport is getting some funding for improvements to access roads and ramps, as part of a package of federal transportation grants; it’s certainly been a busy summer for the airport.

Excerpt: Lawmakers from Michigan say projects at Detroit Metropolitan Airport and MBS International Airport will be getting millions of dollars in federal funding.

Democratic Sen. Carl Levin announced Tuesday that Detroit Metropolitan Airport in Romulus is getting more than $15 million in federal transportation grants.
