Lack of health insurance can stop a lot of people from going to the doctor, but CMCH is looking to help out with a free health care clinic opening in a few months.
Excerpt: Central Michigan Community Hospital President Bill Lawrence said it’s difficult to know how many mid-Michigan residents are either underinsured or don’t have health care insurance.
Even so, estimates indicate the number of people without insurance, the underinsured and those without primary care physicians is significant, Lawrence said Monday.
