"You can't beat the price," said Opperthauser. "There's no bond and there's no initiation fee."

Tim Nicholson, pool director, agrees it's the best deal around.

"It's cheaper than a weekend at Cedar Point," he said, noting that Forest Park Swim Club is open seven days a week from Memorial Day weekend through the end of September.
