Safety is key to new Safe Routes to School program

Farmington Publis Schools are promoting safety through the Safe Routes to School program.

Two Farmington Public Schools enrolled in Michigan's Safe Routes to School initiative and are promoting safety.

Safe Routes to School is a national and state program to increase walking and biking to school along safe routes. Farmington Public Schools announced that East Middle School and Beechview Elementary School have been selected as two of only 30 schools statewide to receive a mini-grant to fund the Safe Routes to School Action Planning process.
