A group of environmentalists and community activists planted a seed four
years ago that, they hoped, would blossom into a two-day festival in
downtown Rochester.
With 50,000 people expected to attend this year's two-day event, it's safe to say their seed has found good earth.
The
fourth Earth Day Expo, conducted for its first three years at Oakland
University's Oakland Center, will be April 18-19 in downtown Rochester
at Third and Water streets. Earth Day itself is April 22.
