Dino the Tailor draws customers back

Birmingham tailor makes customers feel like stars.

More than 40 years ago, Kosins Clothing Store on Griswald in Detroit heard about a man in Greece who made custom clothes for movie stars like Anthony Quinn. That man was Dino Mitropoulos.

Kosins proceeded to relocate Dino directly to Detroit to be its master tailor. For 25 years, Mitropoulos built a successful career and clientele with Kosins Clothing store until 1994 when the store closed, which led to the founding of Dino The Tailor in Birmingham. This May marks his 15th anniversary.
