Four local archaeologists and historians will present field reports from their current "digs," as well as new information on the Oakland County Civil War Mapping Project and Commemoration. Plans are already underway in Oakland County to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Civil War (2011-2015). There will even be a special guest appearance from Michigan's 12th governor, Moses Wisner!

The workshop takes place at Oakland University's Oakland Center, in the Lake Superior Rooms (A & B). For more information, visit www.oakgov.com/historic
