Armstrong White, a global design firm known for its creative computer imagery and 3-D animation, is moving its offices from Bloomfield Township to Birmingham. The company is renovating the old alternative high school on Lincoln Street into 10,000 square feet of studio and office space.
The purchase agreement was finalized Monday after the city commission approved a lot split of the property.
"I see this as a catalyst for improved property values and quality of life," Commissioner Scott Moore said. "This is exactly what we wanted to see happen here."
