As the copywriter at Moncur, I write brand messaging for clients, content for their websites, and copy for their marketing materials. Working with a collaborative team of designers, programmers, and creative directors, I contribute the words to various projects we undertake to help our clients sell their products and services. I am also the Marketing director for The Night Move. Supporting founder Chris Ramos, I have helped build and brand this shuttle service company. It's a learning experience for both of us, as we forge new relationships with other local businesses and conceive of inventive ways to promote our service to various audiences. My many hats at the Night Move include: writing (e-newsletters, blogs, website content, proposals, ads), PR (press release writing and distribution, media relations), and events coordination. Finally, I am the host of a local internet show, "The Royal Soak" (pilot to air soon). Local startup Final Five Productions has hired me to co-host "The Royal Soak," a news parody show. "The Soak" will air on Urbane Reflections, the community blog of Royal Oak's Urbane Apartments. Basically, they write the script, and I read it on camera, cracking jokes and smiling a lot. Our pilot episode is in the editing room and will soon be posted under the UrbaneTV category of the blog, found at http://www.urbaneapts.com/urbanereflections-blog/?cat=538
