ZenaComp turns technology efficiency into new work

Sherpa isn’t a work commonly heard in technology circles, but its one ZenaComp uses to describe its service.

The Farmington Hills-based company, founded in 1989, describes itself as a "technology sherpa" that helps guide it's customers through the IT world. The company, which mainly focuses on consulting, advises its customer on IT design, implementing large-scale databases and unproven technologies. The company promises to "carry your pack to keep your company moving toward its goals."

Right now it's easily carrying the heavy load that comes with having Weight Watchers as a client.

Farmington Hills-based ZenaComp Inc., a technology consulting firm for small to medium size businesses and municipalities, announced that it has enhanced the Weight Watchers Group online registration system to support its Special Alliance program. 

Major health insurance and health providers have teamed up with Weight Watchers allowing their subscribers to enjoy discounted rates.  

Seven years ago, ZenaComp initially created the WWG online registration system and has since then maintained it.
