Alisa Peskin-Shepherd launched her a law practice under her own name, but found out she wanted to convey a bigger message.
Peskin-Shepherd says her practice is all about helping clients transition through tough times, such as divorce. That's why she recently rebranded her two-person firm
Transitions Legal.
"I want to identify myself with my approach to how divorces are transitions," Peskin-Shepherd says. "With this rebranding, I have been able to put that message out there."
The Bloomfield Hills-based firm currently employs Peskin-Shepherd and an assistant. Peskin-Shepherd expects her business revenue to pick up over the next year thanks to the clearer message from her company's new name.
"Clients come to me because of the message they are hearing," Peskin-Shepherd says.
