Things look promising for a Macomb County business incubator to land $5 million in start-up funds from the US Department of Defense.

If approved, the grant will go to Automation Alley, which is working with auto suppliers to take advantage of a soon to be vacated Delphi Corp. research and development facility in Shelby Township.

The Macomb County Business Accelerator will form a strategic partnership between the United States Army's automotive and technology research programs at the Warren Arsenal.
