Identity Marketing & Public Relations knows what butters its bread, but the Bingham Farms-based firm is still finding new ways to make its bottom line fatter.
The 13-year-old firm still counts on media relations as its largest revenue source, but is expanding its revenue stream through new service offerings in social media and search engine optimization. The company has seen its more traditional customer base place more value on rallying their social media profiles and making their online presence more visible through search engine optimization.
"That's an area that continues to grow for us," says
Mark Winter, managing partner of
Identity Marketing & Public Relations.
Which is allowing
Identity Marketing & Public Relations to continue adding to its staff. The firm has hired three people over the last year to handle both administrative and account management duties.
"We see double-digit growth on the revenue side," Winter says. "We'll probably hire 2-3 people in 2012."
