As the world churns, Global LT continues to get bigger. The Troy-based international relations firm has watched its business grow 64 percent over the last year as the world economy continues to grow and change.
"We survive when people move from one place to another," says Ken Patterson, COO of
Global LT. "When a plant shuts down, we're still working to relocate people to a new country."
The 32-year-old firm has grown to nearly 75 employees over the last year, thanks mostly to 15 new jobs created this year. The company expects to continue hitting double-digit revenue growth for the next year (about 20-25 percent) which should enable it to hire another 4-5 people. It has three job openings right now.
"We've landed a few large clients, such as Volkswagen," Patterson says.
