Maurer family to wrap up one Ypsilanti project, start another this fall

As soon as one project is about to be knocked down and finished another pops up for Maurer Management. The family owned business is set to wrap up work the Kresge building in downtown this September and begin work on the Mack & Mack building later this fall.

One project is almost down for the Maurer family as another one starts to pop up again.

Ypsilanti residents Eric and Karen Maurer, who own Maurer Management & Properties, are nearly finished building the J Neil's Mongolian Grille on the ground floor of the Kresge Building on Michigan Avenue in downtown Ypsilanti. Construction is set to wrap up this summer so the restaurant can open in September.
