Berkley's new master plan calls for park expansion and housing rehabs

Berkley has adopted a new master plan that calls for park expansions and housing rehabilitations.

Excerpt:

The changes include projects to alter or improve areas and include creating a plaza at 12 Mile and Robina ("Many people recognize Robina and 12 Mile is the heart of our downtown," [City Planner Amy] Vansen said), redeveloping bungalows (to allow larger homes, but not new "bigfoot" homes), adding onto a parkway on Coolidge to make a park with a walking path that would link to Beaumont, and turning a right of way on Greenfield into an extra road for homes so they do not have to pull out directly onto the main road.
