April things to do: A student art exhibition, Easter events, theater, and spring break activities

Winter is officially over, and we are finally getting more rain than snow. If you’re looking for something to do this month, the Lakeshore has plenty to offer. There are a couple of spring flings, a spring break camp, a few theater productions, an Elton John tribute concert, and the Newsboys bring their latest tour to West Michigan. Kids hit the jackpot this month with plenty of things to do — reading, crafts, park activities, pajama parties, and volunteer opportunities. And don’t forget the egg-straordinary Easter events. Some out-of-the-ordinary items on this month’s calendar include submarine tours, hockey games, a comics and toy fair, a model railroad and hobby expo, and a couple of park cleanups. April offers a wide variety of things to do in Allegan, Muskegon, and Ottawa counties. This list includes options for everyone, regardless of age, ability, or interest.
