No matter how much you may have loved wide lapels and skinny ties, there comes a time when everyone's wardrobe has to change.
Well, after nearly 3 1/2 years
Concentrate is trying on a new set of duds. Something a little more sleek, stylish, and, most importantly, usable, seemed appropriate.
So, what does that mean for you, our discerning and fearless readers?
Well, for one,
you can now leave comments after every story, video, blog post, or news item. Using your Facebook account you can weigh in with your opinions, observations, compliments or criticisms on whatever we're writing about. That goes for all our previous content as well. Frankness is welcome. Rudeness is not.
We want our readers to become a part of
Concentrate's story because, frankly, you're the biggest part of where Ann Arbor, Ypsi, Chelsea, Dexter and Saline are heading.
And speaking of Facebook, why not join
Concentrate's Facebook page?
You may also notice that our features now sport photos alongside the story. Pop 'em open to see photographer Doug Coombe's view on the who, what, and where of every feature.
Other changes might be a tad less obvious. We've got a
Focus On section on the homepage that directs you to stories you may be interested in, we post the
Top 10 Feature Stories in any given week, our city pages do a better job of connecting you with the latest news items and features, and if you dig what you're reading, well, the ability to
sign up for our weekly newsletter (we promise not to do bad things with your email) is at the end of every story.
In the coming months we'll be working to make
Concentrate more dynamic with its content, posting stories all through the week instead of just on Wednesdays. Be sure to check back from time to time.
Ultimately, we like our new look and approach. We hope you will too! And if you don't... well, there's the nifty new comment section below where you can let us know.
