Business Facilities Magazine has ranked Michigan in third place nationally for the number of alternative energy locations in the state.
According to excerpts from the article:

wide variety of energy companies that Michigan is trying to attract
helped the state nail the third ranking. The magazine cited
announcements by Dow Chemical to invest as much as $1 billion in alternative energy research and development could result in as many as 7,000 new jobs.
The
