In the last six months, Okemos-based
TechSmith has released new versions of its two flagship products, Snagit10 (screen capture and editing), and Camtasia Studio 7 (video and presentation capture and editing), captivating millions of new and existing users
worldwide.
Along the way, their global sales increased by more than 25 percent between January and July.
“Like all software companies, technology is constantly changing,” says Bill Hamilton, president of TechSmith. “We work hard to stay on top of the latest and greatest, and balance what’s new with what presents a new opportunity for our current and future customers to be more successful with our products.”
Along with the growth, TechSmith has had other successes this year, including being ranked among
Inc. Magazine's 5,000 fastest-growing private U.S. companies.
With a few minor exceptions, TechSmith’s entire global business is run exclusively out of its offices in
Okemos.
“We employ more than 200 full time employees and do our best to offer an excellent working environment that makes people happy to say they work at TechSmith,”adds Hamilton.
