BANG! Creative’s Green Branding Campaign Snares National Prize

The Bath-based creative agency, BANG!, has been awarded the 2010 Crystal Achievement Award from the National Glass Association, which represents 3,000 manufacturers worldwide.

A New York-based company, Kasson and Keller Inc., turned to BANG! to help launch their EcoShield line, created to tap the growing demand for sustainable, green building products. BANG! put together a message strategy and rolled out a branding tactic that extended across all print, retail and electronic media.

“Environmental technologies are hugely important to the region, and our ability to market them will pretty much define our success,” says Mike Van Egeren, creative director for BANG!. “The trick is to transform a technological innovation into a living, breathing, human story.”

Sales have jumped up 29 percent year-over-year, and Kasson and Keller Inc. marketing director Jack Meehan attributes “much, if not most” of that gain to the EcoShield brand.

BANG!’s award-winning efforts include the EcoShield logo, tagline, website, trade booth, retail displays and a full complement of product literature. The work was featured at a national trade convention in Las Vegas and in the pages of Door & Window magazine, the industry’s leading trade publication.
