Miche Suboski loves entrepreneurs. Her enthusiasm for bringing unique networking and training opportunities to the Lansing business community has led Suboski and The
Lansing Economic Area Partnership to develop “
Entrepreneurs’ Edge,” a five-part program kicking off this week.
“What it’s going to look like for entrepreneurs is a series of opportunities to attend events,” says Suboski, Champion for Entrepreneurship and Innovation with LEAP, Inc. “I never talk about this is an educational thing, but from first hand experience you can’t help but learn when you get connected to people.”
Entrepreneurs’ Edge includes “Pure Q&A,” “E2 Peer Group,” “E2 Expert Help,” and the “Pitch Machine,” and Suboski’s services as LEAP’s Champion for Entrepreneurs. Her role will be to assist businesses in identifying resources, navigating through them and acting as an advocate.
“You can pick and choose what you’d like to do,” Suboski says. “It’s an opportunity for them to be prudent with their money.”
The a la carte services range from paying $10 for a Pure Q&A session to a paid membership in an E2 Peer Group. Suboski is currently looking for volunteer entrepreneurs to be a part of a free pilot E2 Peer Group.
“I think this region is very ripe for this,” she says. “I have worked all over the state and I think the Lansing entrepreneurs are under-served. They want to be highly connected an agile.”
Information on upcoming Entrepreneurs’ Edge Events can be found on the LEAP Inc. website.
