Tri-State Centurion is building a $16 million, two story, 72,270 square foot headquarters in Williamston. Tri-State Centurion manufactures and packages medical products.
The new headquarters will be constructed on a 37-acre site near the Exit 117 off Interstate 96. The facility will include a fitness center and a center atrium. Tri-State Centurion plans to seek Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification for the building.
“Tri-State Centurion is a family-owned business that has been in Michigan for over 40 years,” says Tri-State's president, Tom Archipley. “In selecting a new site for our corporate headquarters, it was important for us to stay in Michigan. By building in Williamston we are making a long-term commitment to the local and regional community.”
When the building opens in late 2009 or early 2010, 120 employees will work at the location. Tri-State plans to increase staff capacity by 10 percent each year.
