Salon 130 in Mason is expanding into a new, 3,000 square foot space, an area that’s more than double the size of the existing salon.
“We’ve grown and I really think the biggest reason is that our customer service is stellar,” says Stylist/Owner Jena Keller.
Keller opened the full service salon in November 2006 and has already completed the first phase of her expansion, which includes adding styling stations. The second phase of the expansion should be finished by September. This phase includes adding a space for massage therapists and an esthetician.
Keller is expanding into the building located right next door to her 130 W. Ash St. location.
“We haven’t even been in business for three years and here we are, thriving,” Keller says.
Keller and her husband moved to Michigan from Ohio in2005.
“We just decided to take a huge leap of faith and jump in,” she says. “It’s been a great experience and a huge success.”
Keller has nine employees.
