After researching several 24-hour fitness franchises, Ryan Hannah and his business partners, who also happen to be his parents, opened their own 24-hour facility in Williamston.
Fitness Zone opened at the beginning of June and is located in the former Mammoth Video at 725 W. Grand River in Williamston.
“There’s a high amount of traffic that goes through this area,” Hannah says about choosing the former Mammoth Video location for his gym. “It’s convenient and it’s probably the best location.”
The 24-access facility includes personal training services and a variety of machines. This is Hannah’s first business.
Hannah didn’t have to renovate the building, but hopes to expand what is now a 3,000 square foot gym into a 5,600 square foot gym by utilizing the remaining space in the building.
“It’s really growing and as far as the school system goes, they’re doing a really nice job,” Hannah says about the city.
