Central Solutions, a three-year-old Mason-based technology consulting company, recently moved into a 1,200 square foot office in downtown Mason.
“We moved downtown primarily to get a better presence and build upon the community aspect,” says Central Solutions President Brian Tort. “So far it’s been a positive move. We have a lot more foot traffic.”
Central Solutions specializes in personal computer support and repair, consulting, development of technology plans, wireless Internet service, Internet protocol telephone solutions and web design and hosting.
The new office includes a business center. The business center has eight stations where the public can access the Internet, fax applications, use a notary service or work.
“We’re just trying to allow people to use it as a resource,” Tort says. “We wanted this to be more than an office for Central Solutions. We wanted it to be a community space.”
Central Solutions has nine employees and hopes to continue adding jobs.
“We’re currently in expansion mode for our wireless project in the City of Mason,” he says.
Central Solutions moved to the 119 E. Maple St. office May 1.
