Known as the Island City, Eaton Rapids is a scenic, small town located where the Grand River meets Spring Brook. The city was founded and grew based on the discovery of curative “healing” mineral waters, its timber mills and a yarn-making industry. It’s now home to the historical Island Park, which now boasts parks for strolling, statues, old stone bridges and a picnic area for visitors.
