Outhouse Races for the contestants who just gotta run

The 2013 South Haven Fall Festival kicked off Friday, Oct. 11 with fun, food, and music, including a square dance at Joe’s Bar & Grill. The festivities peaked with the Second Annual Outhouse Race. More than 200 people lined Huron Street to cheer on the racers. Promoted as the NASCAR of Outhouse Races, participants came from Village Market, Clementine’s Saloon, Wolverine Hardware, Performance Plus Quick Lube, Harbor Toy Company, Black River Tavern, Al-Van Humane Society, First United Methodist Church, Bloomingdale Communications, Bardens Farm Market, and Two Men and a Truck. The first place winner of the Commercial Division was Two Men and a Truck.
