Move over, kids: Gull Meadow Farms has a night for grown-ups

RICHLAND, MI — Fall fun isn’t just for kids. On Oct. 1, Gull Meadow Farms is making room for grown-ups, too, with the return of its Adult Only Night.

From 5 to 8 p.m., the farm’s activity area will be reserved for guests 18 and older, offering a grown-up spin on classic fall attractions, along with hard cider, food, games and other activities.

“It’s everything people love about a fall visit to the farm, just reimagined for grown-ups,” says Justin Wendzel, owner of Gull Meadow Farms. “Grab a date, round up your friends, or come ready to make some new ones!”

The evening will feature more than 30 activities, including the giant slide, jumping pillows, and yard games. Guests can also take a scenic wagon ride, explore the six-acre corn maze, try the apple cannons and paintball gallery, or pick apples early in the evening.

Wendzel says the event is designed to give adults a chance to enjoy the farm without having to supervise the kids or worry about the kids watching adults act like kids.

“Adult-Only Night gives adults a chance to experience the farm in a completely different way,” Wendzel says. “So many people think of places like ours as something you visit when you have kids, but we want the farm to be a place where people of all ages can come together, have fun, and make memories.”

Hard cider, food, and donuts will be available for purchase throughout the evening. Guests heading into the corn maze are encouraged to bring a flashlight.

For U-Pick apples, the final orchard entrance is at 7 p.m., with the orchard closing at 7:30 p.m.

The farm’s regular activities remain open to guests of all ages earlier in the day. The 18-and-older restriction applies to the activity area beginning at 5 p.m.

Adult Only Night is included with season passes at no additional cost. U-Pick apples, apple cannon and paintball shots, food, drinks and other purchases are sold separately.
