Ingeteam, a global wind energy company, is hiring a wind turbine technician to perform operations and maintenance in Garden. Ingeteam serves wind farms across the world, providing technical and startup services. The full-time position is suited for someone with a wind turbine technician degree, or with knowledge and skills of power electronics and experience as an industrial electrician or electronics/electromechanical technician. The technician is responsible for operations, maintenance and repair of wind turbine generator systems on the Garden Peninsula. Qualifications:
-Wind turbine technician degree
-Knowledge and skills of power electronics or experience as an industrial electric, electronic, electromechanical technician
-Ability to climb and rappel off towers up to 300 feet high
-Able to lift 75 pounds and work outdoors in extreme conditions
-Ability to work with AC/DC of 1500 volts and less
-Familiarity with voltage testers, multi-meters, amp clamps, oscilloscopes, megohmmeters, infrared testers, ESD, lockout tagout, hydraulics, accumulator charging, crane hand signals, soldering, fasteners, torquing, hytorques, and fiber optics
-Basic computer proficiency
-Willingness to become certified in CPR and tower rescue
-Driver's license and good driving record
